By default Doppler will use the information embedded in your music files but sometimes you may want to fill in missing information, make adjustments to album and artist names or change the artwork for an album.
Both Doppler for Mac and Doppler for iPhone support editing song and album information from within the app.
Doppler for Mac
- Right-click the song(s) or album(s) you want to edit the info for
- Select “Edit Info” from the context menu
- Make changes to the song/album information and click “Save”
Doppler for iPhone
- Tap the Options button (•••) on a song or album
- Select “Edit Info” from the context menu
- Make changes to the song/album information and click “Save”
Notes
When you edit info inside of Doppler your edits are saved to the Doppler database. Doppler does not make changes to your files.
If you want to change the information stored in your music files you should use an app like Meta, Mp3tag or Yate.
If you would like a future version of Doppler to support saving info directly to your files, please contact us to let us know.
