Which option should I use to set up my Doppler library?

All Docs

There are a few different ways to set up your Doppler library.

Transfer from laptop/desktop computer

MacBook or other Mac computer

If your music is on a MacBook or other Mac computer the easiest option is to use the “Import from Mac” option. You’ll be directed to download the Doppler Transfer app where you can transfer your music over Wi-Fi or USB. Once you connect the Doppler Transfer app to your iPhone, you can just drag and drop files to add them to Doppler.

Windows and Linux

If you music is on a Windows or Linux computer, you might want to use the “Import from Wi-Fi” option. You’ll be directed to scan a QR code on the Doppler Transfer website and then you can use your web browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) to drag and drop files to add them to Doppler.

NAS drives (network shares, SMB etc.)

To add your music from a NAS drive you will first need to connect to your server from inside the iOS Files app. Instructions on connecting your NAS drive are available here: Connect servers or external devices with Files on iPhone - Apple Support

Once that’s set up, you should use the “Import from other apps” option.

Full instructions are available here: How to import music from a NAS Drive

Google Drive, Dropbox and another cloud services

To connect to a cloud service, you will first need to install that service’s app on your phone and log into your account in their app.

Once you’ve set that up, you can access your files from inside Doppler by using the “Import from other apps” option.

iCloud Drive or downloaded to my iPhone

Choose the “Import from other apps” option, select the “Browse” tab at the bottom of the screen and then find and select your music.
