2021 is off to a strong start.
It’s been fantastic to see everyone’s response to Doppler 2.3 and it’s hard not to be excited and optimistic about Doppler’s future.
Since v2.3, there’s been no shortage of updates — once a week on average — fixing bugs and making substaintial performance improvements. In case you missed it: importing files is now up to 10 times faster!
Today we’re now also lowering the barrier to getting started — with free trials.
Since its launch in April 2018, Doppler has always been paid up-front. Over that time I’ve heard from people who are excited to try the app but hesitent to pay up-front for it. Not everyone knows you can request refunds through the App Store, and even for those who do, some just don’t want to potentially jump through hoops.
So, starting today, you can download Doppler for free and use the full app with no restrictions for 7 days. If after 7 days you want to continue using the app, there’s a one-time in-app purchase to buy Doppler.
If you’ve already bought Doppler, there are no changes. The app will continue to work the way it always has.
If you know someone who buys music and hasn’t tried Doppler yet, let them know they can now download it for free.
